Alright, many may remember that sculpt I started back in January... I worked on it all up till June, and then as usual.... trashed it...Well I am feelin pretty confident with this sculpt. I have been workin on it for about a month, but I have worked on it like crazy every single day, and I think I am really gettin there. This is based on the CJ Graham version of the mask.<img src=\"http://i126.photobucket.com/albums/p117/sickness1028/Forest%20Green%20Camper/aug4.jpg\" border=\"0\" class=\"linked-image\" />

I liked your first one better, from what I actually saw of it. 'Pity that you decided to destroy it.Regardless, you need to do a lot of work on this new version, too. You should start with the front of his neck...Those two largest tendons are way too far apart and under-emphasized, and the front/middle portion of the neck is supposed to be deeply WRINKLED, whereas you have added what I can only refer to as "holes" all over that area. Try to blend it in, slope, and curve a bit more with your clay-carving.Also, the holes you've put in his forehead are actually supposed to be rounded shapes which stand UP off the skin's surface on the original movie sculpture. Their appearance is similar to moles.Furthermore, the exposed bone on the bridge of his nose isn't placed correctly, the ax cut needs to be reshaped heavily, and you need to thin down his ear lobes. They look almost cartoony, currently. Not that you're going to even listen to my suggestions, but I thought it was worth posting anyway. Ya know, just to say it.Good luck and cheers,Ryan

Ryan, i do plan on using that advice, I dont know what makes you think I wouldnt. Thanks a ton! Yeah there are tons of problems with it, the ears were something i threw together for reference, not the final ears.THIS IS NOT THE COFFIN VERSION OF THE MASK.I sculpted it with the eye closed because they did for the movie. I am pretty sure they didnt sculpt an eye, they just cut one out, but left CJ's closed eye from the lifecast in the sculpt.
