Do Mask Companies Sell Cheaper Quality Copies To Retail And Web Stores ?

Heres a good question for ya. I heard on another forum that some complains who mass produce masks make two separate quality levels of each mask they sell for the same price. ( i don't mean economy versions) The higher quality being what they sell direct to customers on there website and the second quality being what they sell to retail and web stores. Is this true ?Thanks
