My Dream House

Hello everyone,I just finished my "Dream House" this weekend. For those who don't know, this house is a replica of the model house shown in A Nightmare on Elm Street 3. It took me several days to make and I'm really pleased with the way it turned out.The house was made to be as accurate as possible to the one we see in the movie, but it was hard as I only had about 5 screencaps from the film. The only thing I made from no references was the woods on the windows. I make the barricade style the way I wanted because of a cool feature I wanted to add. We can put a light inside the house!I wanted the light to go through the windows and make a good ambient lightning <img src=\"style_emoticons/<#EMO_DIR#>/tongue.gif\" style=\"vertical-align:middle\" emoid=\"\" border=\"0\" alt=\"tongue.gif\" /> The pictures that show the light was hard to take as we didn't see anything <img src=\"style_emoticons/<#EMO_DIR#>/sad.gif\" style=\"vertical-align:middle\" emoid=\"\" border=\"0\" alt=\"sad.gif\" /> I have taken some that are good though. Every pop sticks that are green were hand drawn with a green permanent marker. The pop sticks that are white and the brown ones on the windows were hand painted and weathered individually for a better look. The house has about 5 layers of papers in and out.I am currently making another one <img src=\"style_emoticons/<#EMO_DIR#>/biggrin.gif\" style=\"vertical-align:middle\" emoid=\":biggrin:\" border=\"0\" alt=\"biggrin.gif\" /> because now I have all my models and a load of weathered pop sticks so I decided to make another one. Nice I like what you've done, it looks great. I like the light inside too, nice touch. I also like Gerrards house he built, you both have made them very accurate. I was thinking it might look interesting if you burn slightly the edges of the sticks that are covering the windows, that might be pretty sweet. The major thing that will be done on my new one is the weathering on the wood pieces and there will be 3 lights available (yellow, green and red).
