Best Stuff To Use For Blood On Mask

I was wondering what all you mask makers find best to use for the gooey dripping blood on a mask.I painted a zombie a while back and I used a little latex paint base,clear tacky glue, and mixed different color reds till I got what I wanted.Does anyone have a method that might be better?thanks

I think i heard someone say red guitar lacquer, but I never knew where to find it.

Red food coloring with drops of green for tinting mixed with polycrylic or some other permanent type lacquer. I don't know exactly how this would react on a latex mask however due to the flexibility. It's good on clothing and hard surfaces...

I use tamiya clear red on mine, add a touch of brown for darker blood effects, andd add it to five minute epoxy for that goopy look
