My Friend/neighbor Is Not Doing To Good

I have known him for about 5 years. He has been a great friend. He went in for surgery 6 weeks ago and after it was over with I talked to him and everything was fine. For what ever reason by the second night he slipped away. He is now in a facility and is completely gone. I dont understand what has happened and am very sad and pissed off. Here is a picture of me and him, as you can see he is older(67) and a smaller guy, he looks huge compared to what he weighs now. Plus now he looks about 20 years older. Sorry to bum everyone out, but I am just sad. One day they are fine the next they are not... Sorry to hear about your friend man. You have my sympathies. Life can suck sometimes...my grandma is in a nursing home suffering from extreme dimensia. It has gotten so bad so quick...I'd do anything for her to not be in this condition. So I know it really hurts to see your loved ones suffer. I wish your friend the best and take care.

Yes.. life is very fragile. One of my co-workers left work last Thursday and when we got to work this morning, she wasn't there. Come to find out she passed away over the weekend. Woah.... life takes some serious and unexpected turns some time. All we can do is make the most of every day while we're still around. My prayers are with you and your friend.

That blows man. My Grandfather is in physically great shape, but his mind is gone. Last time I saw him I sat and had lunch with him and we talked for a good long while and towards the end of our conversation I realized he didn't know who I was. I asked him where he thought he was and he thought he was in a military hospital back in the 1940s. It's rough, so I feel for you.

I'm <b>so</b> sorry to hear about this, Tom. And it's crazy how much that reminds me of what happened to my grandfather (who passed away almost two years ago, because of cancer).
