I realy don't know what to think of this Eddie Murphy as "The Riddler"?? and Robin i just hope they stay true to the comic and make it dark dark dark lol.And could this be the end to "The Dark Knight"?

Woah, that is some crazy news right there. Got to be bullshit. Eddie Murphy is box office poison, I can't see him being considered for any big role these days. Eddie Murphy was considered for the role in 1995, along with Jim Carey and Robin Williams. Jim of course got the role back then. So that's a 13yo rumor.I saw on the news that Johnny Depp showed interest in playing the Riddler. As cool as that would be, I think Chris Nolan should avoid big name stars. Now that Batman is huge again, a lot of stars will be putting on pressure to play the roles of Batman's villains. I really hope WB doesn't pressure Nolan to put token stars in the cast...and Britney Spears as Catwoman! Agh, I can so see that happening. Jeff-

I really hope this turns out to be just another crazy rumor. Eddie Murphy as The Riddler will be enough to keep me away. After the excellent casting of Batman Begins and The Dark Knight, I can't see the execs in charge making a move like this that could potentially derail everything they have built.
