Since my surgery, I've basically been prisoner in my own house. Havent been able to drive for 3 weeks, so I've been kinda stuck inside for a while. Internet, gaming, and tv really only go so far, then insanity kicks in. Not to mention I've messed up my sleeping pattern. I sleep 3 or 4 hours and stay up through most of the night. I finally found somethin to ease my boredome, however. I've had these books since I was a kid, and NEVER get tired of reading them. For those who don't know, the Batman book is "The Complete Frank Miller Batman". It's a collection of the best Batman stories he did. It contains "Batman : Year One", "Wanted : Satnta Claus - Dead or Alive", and "The Dark Knight Returns". The Joker book is basically the same. It's entitled "Stacked Deck : The Greatest Joker Stories Ever Told : Expanded Edition." Including the first Joker appearance, the death of Robin, etc. Both books are hardback and leatherbound. The Batman book is often refered to as "That Batman Bible" due to its silver pages and ribbon bookmark. I recently began reading these again, and let me tell ya, it's better than any movie or game. The stories are so great and the artwork is just amazing. If you are a Batman fan, you should definetly pick these up. They are a bit rare, but can occasionally be found on ebay. Here are some pics :I also recently picked up an AWESOME book from The Dark Knight. It features production art and full shooting script. This book easilly makes up for the lack of special features on the bonus disc that was recently released. The story boards, rough concept art, and interviews with Christopher Nolan and the production crew is very informative and interesting. I havent finished it yet, but the script is an amazing read. Especially Ledger's lines. Reading through them and noticing the little things he changed to make the character his own is really remarkable. I got it at Barnes and Noble for only $35.00 bucks, but I saw it on Amazon as low as $23.00 shipped. Thats a steal for any Dark Knight fan. My pics dont show NEARLY as much that this book actually contains. Here are a few pics:

I certainly have ADD when it comes to reading, so comics were always my way of having an excuse to read. I havent sat down and read a book, or a comic for that matter in years. Hope you enjoy the pics. Thanks for lookin.

Holy crap Scott, that sounds like pretty intense surgery. Had no idea you were dealing with that. Hope it heals fast for you.By the way, nice reads. I just watched The Dark Knight on BLu-Ray and loved it. I didn't check out any special features yet though.
