Hey gang.I thought I would share my latest piece with you.. something that I have been very anxious to add to my collection for quite some time. "The Lost Boys" is one of my favorite films of the 80's and when Bob Causey released his rendition of David... well, I hoped some day I would be fortunate enough to add him to my shelf. This is the resin version... I want to thank my man SimmonM for selling the blank to me.Bob's sculpt is dead on in my eyes... simply stunning! However, the finish work on a piece like this is just as important to produce a perfect display. This is where my buddy Rich comes in (Dahone). I don't really know what else to say... other than I was blown away at Rich's work. I absolutely love Rich's skin tones and his hair work is second to none in my book. Some of you may remember the work he did on my Tallman bust... precisely the reason why I will continue to hound Rich to do work for me <img src=\"style_emoticons/<#EMO_DIR#>/wink.gif\" style=\"vertical-align:middle\" emoid=\"\" border=\"0\" alt=\"wink.gif\" /> . Rich.... Thank You!!I made the earring after studying screen caps and a few attempts to get the length right. I think it turned out pretty damn close. I am, however, having trouble finding an accurate leather jacket so I may end up making something.I hope my pictures can do this piece justice.[attachment=29587Big Grinavid.jpg] [attachment=29588Big Grinavid__1_.jpg] [attachment=29589Big Grinavid__2_.jpg]

As I said over on the HMA this is the best paint up I've seen on the resin copies. The hair length is perfect and it's styled just right. It's a keeper for sure....congrats man.

On just about every copy of this bust I have seen the hair was simply too long, moreso the top. When I was checking screen caps I did notice that the length of the back did change... got longer half way through the film. I mentioned this to Rich a while back... and he nailed it.
