The weathering on the tri's looks great! One thing I'm not sure about is the topcoat. I though the finish was flatter. I've been trying to hold out, but I think I'm going to have to get a remake mask now.

I put heavy layers of glossy clearcoat on all my masks, I gotta start buying a satin, or flat clearcoat.

That's a pretty good paintjob, man. Only one thing though: The top chevron is more narrow on the actual mask, but that doesn't take away from the fact that you did a good job on this.

Looks great man. Just spray over that clear topcoat with Matte Krylon and you're good. My only suggestions for next time is to make little nicks, real scratches deep in the mask to give it a REAL worn look. It's a little purdy as-is.Also, try filling in the hole placements with epoxy putty next time and smooth it out, then sand. And drill the holes in the correct location. For example the 4 holes directly above the top tri should almost be lined up square straight across. I know it's a pain, but it will be worth it in the end. I used to just drill where the holes were b/c it's easy... but I'm filling them in now and getting it right. And if you want to get a bit deeper, try weathering the snaps and straps to look a bit more rustic/dirty.Great work though man, you've come a long way.=C=

Not bad Jamie, i agree with what Chad said, try weathering the snaps to give it a realy worn in look and for the next one move the holes, get the blanks undrilled and fill the divets in with a plastic filler, as Chad said a two part epoxy will do, let it dry for a day or so then redrill the holes in the correct places <img src=\"style_emoticons/<#EMO_DIR#>/smile.gif\" style=\"vertical-align:middle\" emoid=\"Smile\" border=\"0\" alt=\"smile.gif\" /> The blanks your using are great for the remake shape, slightly bigger/wider nose and fuller in the mouth area, look forward to seeing the next one <img src=\"style_emoticons/<#EMO_DIR#>/smile.gif\" style=\"vertical-align:middle\" emoid=\"Smile\" border=\"0\" alt=\"smile.gif\" />
