Neca Remake Recaster?

that is unreal <img src=\"style_emoticons/<#EMO_DIR#>/dry.gif\" style=\"vertical-align:middle\" emoid=\"<_<\" border=\"0\" alt=\"dry.gif\" /> . either he is buying up a bunch of the toys r us masks and reapinting them and jacking up the price or he did in fact recast one and is trying to take credit for something he didn't make . but one thing is for sure and that's if someone does recast a mask , you'll never get it out of them telling you that they did just that . so it's your word against his ..... mike,

This hobby started with recasted masks. You do know that most of the blanks that evreyone here had gotten before Frightstuff came around were a recast. Unless it was an original sculpt by an independent mask maker. I personally don't see anything wrong with recasting the NECA mask because who are we worried about loosing money on the deal? NECA? oh i know there's been it's share of recasters and that doesn't bother me as much as it does when the person takes credit for another persons hard work . i think those losers don't deserve to even own a computer to sell their scams . but really before all this frightstuff started , i don't rememeber much of anyone complaining about " hey you recasted his masks " . mike,

The NECA mask is technically a recast becuase it's cast off a screen used mask. That's why it doesn't bother me to see this mask come out by other maks makers. I'd like to have an abs blank or painted abs plastic copy of this mask done by a person such as Crash or one of the Frightstuff artists.

Thats a prototype for now, just to get an idea of what I want to change. The eye size and symmetry of the mask are two things I am in the process of changing right now, the NECA masks never look 100% accurate to me but they make the best starting point. If anyone sees anything else that looks off lmk. NECA made thousands of copies of the screen used masks from X, Vs, and the remake. They've made enogh out of us the first couple days of releasing the $20 mask.

Until someone can take a mask from fiberglassmasks.com and put an NECA mask directly over top of it to compare, no one is going to know for sure. If it is a recast, what does it matter anyway? The NECA is $20.00. Who cares?-Joseph
