$40 is better than paying the ebay prices.

i can only give you my personal experience with all of this. I went to the one local TRU in my area a few days ago. We walked through the aisles and noticed a large empty section in the middle of the Mcfarlane toys section with the F13 labels in the slots. I went to the front and asked about whether or not they were in stock and if they weren't, would they be getting more. The Store Manager told me that they had to pull them off the shelf due to too many customer complaints. I asked if i was still able to buy one and he told me that unfortunately, they had already scanned them out of the system and readied them for shipping back to their warehouses. All of this may only be because of where I live, but keep my story in mind when you are looking for them.take care,Tommy

Man, some of those aisles have monsterous action figures, don't see what the big deal is about a weathered hockey mask. Even if it belongs to ol' Jason. I guess I just don't understand why some parents would see that on a shelf and then feel the need to complain to the store manager.

Some people just do not consider Horror movie villians to be appropriate toys for children. One thing I learned a long time ago was that not everyone has the same opinion on everything. I could tell that the store manager was getting really nervous just waiting for me to go off on him. I never did, nor did I have any reason to. I politely thanked him for the information, shook his hand, and exited out of the building. I am not about to belittle him or act ignorant just because TRU didn't carry something I wanted.take care,Tommy

Tommy is right about the way he went about it. I just find it odd that TRU still carries various McFarlane Spawn figures. While they dont carry many, they still do from time to time. They mainly focus on McFarlane's sports line these days.Open up a Spawn comic and watch a horror flick. After doing so, tell me which is more violent, <img src=\"style_emoticons/<#EMO_DIR#>/laugh.gif\" style=\"vertical-align:middle\" emoid=\"\" border=\"0\" alt=\"laugh.gif\" />Thanks for the info, Tom <img src=\"style_emoticons/<#EMO_DIR#>/wink.gif\" style=\"vertical-align:middle\" emoid=\"\" border=\"0\" alt=\"wink.gif\" />

Something you guys may need to know. My local TRU does not carry any Mcfarlane Toys other than the sports oriented stuff. At one point, many years ago, they did. They have not carried anything like that in many years though. The only thing i have noticed there recently was the Mcfarlane Dragons figures.take care,Tommy

Hummm, well here in Springfield, IL they can't keep these on the shelf's. The Toys R Us has 20 to begin with, 2 days before the remake came out; then they sold out. They put their next shipment out Saturday, 14 and they are sold out of those as well. When I purchased mine I asked the girl working the checkout if these were selling and she said "Yes, and by kids too." So I assume that across the board collectors and kids are purchasing these. On the box they even say 'This is not a toy' and that these are for years 17 and up. As a collector I'm VERY happy that these are available but I'm shocked at Toys R Us for carrying them.
