No its not tight at all, it fits just perfect no space at all in the mask. I love it, the only thing I would like done is have someone paint it to have a more darker burnt look. Does anyone here know of someone that paint silicone mask?????????????

Thanks for the nice remarks It is excatly like the movie version. I was comparing it to pictures and every burn is on mark. My next task is to get it painted to make it darker.
