I didn't think this film was up to par. The action was very cool, the special effects were dang near perfect, but the story didn't do much for me.The movie completely lacked emotion and I had a ton of trouble actually getting into any of the characters. There were quite a few throwbacks to T1 and T2 and even relations to T3, but these cheesy little "one liners" got REALLY old for me after I caught the 3rd or 4th one. I realize this was an attempt to get hardcore fans to adopt this movie as the next great thing in the Terminator universe, but I just thought of it as a lame excuse to use cheesy lines again and again and I don't think it pays tribute to the best films of the series.I'm fairly sure that the scene that had the nudity cut from it was that totally awkward moment right before Moon Bloodgood is about to get raped by 3 hooligans. It just jumped from the scene where she was with Wright to the scene where she's alone in such an odd way that it threw me off.Lastly I don't think the casting was good (aside from Kyle Reese and Wright and random resistance members including Common). Bryce Dallas Howard was really odd in the movie...she really didn't do anything except open her eyes real big while staring straight into the camera and just FREAKING me out. Bale is typically a good actor, but I think he was the wrong choice for this role. I guess he just really gets into the role, but his Batman grunt is getting annoying, and there's one part near the beginning of the film where he radios back to HQ or whatever and he just grunts his name and that he's the only survivor. This part threw me off so bad that I looked over at my friend and started cracking up.Where's the gore!?!?! This movie had next to no gore...it really didn't feel like it was that violent at all. It also seemed to be completely void of suspense...which was one of the greatest things about T1 and T2.There are also some story elements to the film that are completely ridiculous, but I won't even go into them.As for good things about the film...like I said...the action was sweet! All of the Terminators looked amazing! The CGI Arnold was AWESOME! Kyle Reese was really really cool and so was the T-700! I don't think the movie is terrible, but with the resources they had...I think they failed. All in all I'd rate the Terminator films...Terminator - 4/5 StarsT2: Judgement Day - 5/5 StarsT3: Rise of the Machines - 2.5/5 StarsTerminator: Salvation - 3/5

Could someone point out to me where in the film there were T-700s? I know they were in the film but I didn't notice them at all.

I mean they went straight from 600 to 800 so I'm just assuming that he's a 700.

The T-700's were supposed to be the infiltrator ones and I guess Marcus was it.

No. Marcus was the T-R.I.P. If you look closely when he's battle damaged, you can see his endoskeleton ribcage. The 700 series look almost just like the 800s. Here's a pic to show what I'm talking about.(T-600, T-700, Marcus, T-800) <img src=\"http://img187.imageshack.us/img187/4323/terminatormodels1.jpg\" border=\"0\" class=\"linked-image\" />

I don't know...I didn't like the movie enough to pay that level of attention to it.

Fan Of 1 and 2 and liked 3 somewhat but this movie wasnt good. One word: Boring. It would have been nice if they wouldnt have told everyone that Marcus wasn't human. It was all over the trailers but in the movie its supposed to be a big reveal.

Wall to wall action and many nods to the other movies. As a Terminator fan this movie hit the mark and is a great addition to the series.
