I must be the only one then? I grab a card when I like something, but can't fathom how to carry it back to (or get it into) the car, or don't want to eat too sharply into my shopping budget when there's still rarities floating around the con and this item can be safely purchased later. I must admit though.. it hasn't happened often.. I typically use the "card" as a polite way to disengage a saleman who's got their hooks into me. I just wanted to point out that you shouldn't overlook your online sales potential and wait for customers to ask about it, be proactive. I dunno' how many of those you'd fit on a table, or how easy they'd be for a customer to handle, getting out of the con, or toting it around. If you can only get 3 on your table, the last thing you want to do is sell those three right away, because you miss potential buyers. Of course it's better than not selling any at all, but you get what I'm sayin.. Push the website, and suggest it's the safest, easiest, way to get it home. Better still.. let them place the order for it right there, and offer to ship it to them, to avoid Convention damage, and/or to make it customized for them. You never mentioned.. can different pictures be placed in the box by the customer, or do you see it as a one-shot deal? (hmm.. they gotta change bulbs at some point, so I guess they can change the picture at the same time.) I guess either way I'd layer the back of my booth with various pictures that would fit the box. It makes the whole thing seem more compatible because they can tell they could buy more images at a reasonable price, etc.. Plus the images are potentially giving them ideas. It also means they can change them out when "polite company" comes by.
