It's be cool though but I won't be disappointed if they don't... but I do hope it's something clever.<!--QuoteEnd</div><!--QuoteEEndEven if it's not part of the new intro, that scene is an iconic one imo, and I do hope they pay homage to it in some way during the movie

Voilà! In view, a humble vaudevillian veteran, cast vicariously as both victim and villain by the vicissitudes of Fate. This visage, no mere veneer of vanity, is it vestige of the vox populi, now vacant, vanished, as the once vital voice of the verisimilitude now venerates what they once vilified. However, this valorous visitation of a by-gone vexation, stands vivified, and has vowed to vanquish these venal and virulent vermin vanguarding vice and vouchsafing the violently vicious and voracious violation of volition. The only verdict is vengeance; a vendetta, held as a votive, not in vain, for the value and veracity of such shall one day vindicate the vigilant and the virtuous. Verily, this vichyssoise of verbiage veers most verbose vis-a-vis an introduction, and so it is my very good honor to meet you and you may call me V.

Two weeks isn't bad. Would have preferred it to be two weeks EARLIER though. <img src=\"style_emoticons/<#EMO_DIR#>/smile.gif\" style=\"vertical-align:middle\" emoid=\"Smile\" border=\"0\" alt=\"smile.gif\" /> But it's at least comforting to know that they have a lot of time for post-production so they can do a really good job. Also provides for enough advertising time too. The wait just seems SO long.

So who's gonna be the first glove maker to get one out <img src=\"style_emoticons/<#EMO_DIR#>/whistling.gif\" style=\"vertical-align:middle\" emoid=\":whistling:\" border=\"0\" alt=\"whistling.gif\" /> I suppose you need a few more pics first, i'm liking the new look, wasn't sure on the lack of a backplate, but those leather pieces (i to think there leather) look good

If you kind of think about it, this is kind of the "New Nightmare" glove but in a hand-crafted form. The New Nightmare glove had the long white bones instead of a backplate. This glove has a similar structure to it but it's obviously a hand-crafted item made by Freddy himself. I think that's a cool idea. Plus... having a new glove to design is always good! I am still disappointed though that they put the fingertips on the outside of the columns so that basically eliminates that famous "clacking" sound when you open your hand quickly. It just won't have the same sound anymore but it still looks awesome.

This glove, while certainly different, I think has the right approach. Built in a boiler room, certainly, but more than that it certainly has the kind of look that Wes Craven (imo) was going for, in that it echoes the primal look of talons. Plus the back straps give it that "skeletal" appearance that's gnarly. Still, I prefer the classic look- but it's my personal taste than having something really against it. Maybe it's the purist in me.
    Good people i dealt with:
    Horrorconcepts, HorrorFX, VF_31
    (on MM.net)
allhallowsghost, carter1010, SirMWK, Hollywood Morgan, Outbreak

I'm pretty much liking everything I've seen and heared about the remake One thing I will say is I would not be surprised if this is the only glove that we see in this movie <img src=\"style_emoticons/<#EMO_DIR#>/whistling.gif\" style=\"vertical-align:middle\" emoid=\":whistling:\" border=\"0\" alt=\"whistling.gif\" /> I think that Fuller and co know they can make a hell of a lot more money on the franchises when they stretch out the things in films that can bring in extra cash when it comes to merchandising

Just got confirmation from Brad Fuller. The thin strips on the back of the glove are made of metal. Awesome! So, instead of it being a solid backplate, it functions like 4 individual backplates.. like each finger has it's own supporting backplate strip.
