Last fall...I was goofing around trying to make a part 1 fedora after being ripped off by a well known hat maker in California. That aside.... I bought and shaped a commercially available fedora and IMHO.....it came out fairly accurate (not identical) but close to a part 3,4 or 5 shape. Would anyone be interested in buying one ? .....a 3,4 or 5 would be a brown fedora. It'd be about $100 a hat + SHIPPING ....<b>I'M NOT TAKING ORDERS !!! </b><i></i>.........just taking stock about interest....<img src=\"http://i568.photobucket.com/albums/ss126/TheMadCollector/HPIM1190.jpg\" border=\"0\" class=\"linked-image\" /><img src=\"http://i568.photobucket.com/albums/ss126/TheMadCollector/HPIM1193.jpg\" border=\"0\" class=\"linked-image\" /> <img src=\"http://i568.photobucket.com/albums/ss126/TheMadCollector/HPIM1194.jpg\" border=\"0\" class=\"linked-image\" />

If I had money to buy a hat, I would love to pick one of these up. The shape is fantastic. It's VERY hard to find a hat like this without getting one custom made and paying up the wazoo for it. I would imagine that a lot of people would be interested in buying one... problem is.. despite them being quite accurately shaped, it's a small market that's willing to pay 3 figures for a wool hat.

I'd certainly try to fudge with the price to make it affordable for all. It did take time and money to work it and make it look good. I was trying to cover all possible costs.I'll see what I can do. I know it's a small market..... that's why I wanted to test interest and keep it affordable for people interested. We'll see what happens.
