Hey, I just bought the 2004 version of the mask, and I am very, very incredibly pleased with it. I personally think it looks alot like a UL75 when lightly weathered, and hair trimmed. However, I did cut up the hair on the side a little, but it left a little snippit or two of hair, and I wasn\'t able to get that off, anyone have any suggestions? Will that "Goo Gone" stuff work, and not damage the latex? Also, if anyone has any tips on weathering the overall mask, I\'d love to take \'em. I want the whole mask to look dirtier, but I don\'t want to send it to hell and back, literally. if anyone has any suggestions, I\'d love to have \'em. Thanks!!!

Oh, and here\'s a list of what I did to the mask:
Trimmed up the hair, cut it with scissors, and took the sideburns up a little.
I opened the eyes up a little,
and I trimmed the neck 3/4ths an inch.

I also did some light painting, then I painted over it again with white Latex based paint.

    to weather...

use a little buit of black/ brown paint mixed with windex. and then do washes in the areas ya want. wipe it off with a wet towel too, until u get the look u want.

To glue the hair, go get some E6000 in the craft section at wally world. The stuff is incredible! Just buy some camel top hair at www.thewoolery.com and layer it starting from the back of the head to the front hairline.

or latex would work.. or rubber cement.

and the goo gone might eat through the mask during time.
and u can get Crepe hair in a Halloween store. they come in braids then u need to iron them. its like 2.99 a braid. u may need like 4 or 5 braids.

No, I want to get the hair off where it came down too far on the sides of the mask, above the ears. Thanks for the weathering techniques, I\'ll try that. Take care, if anyone knows how to get the remaining glue OFF, I\'d appreciate it!
