I agree with RCuomo and Indica. It wasn't the best movie, but it certainly wasn't the worst. It was way better than the latest F13..and I will take this any day over H:R, H20 or any teeny bopper Final Destination crap.ProsMyers looks good & is beyond brutalGood atmosphereConsGhost MomLoomis was a waste

I will admit that the killing was awesome. He was more pissed than ever and that was entertaining. But this movie was AWFUL! I can not believe Rob had the guts to do this to the Myers/Halloween franchise, story, legacy, what have you. I didnt leave angry that I had spent 9 dollars and 2 hours on a Sheepty movie, because I love watching Michael no matter what (especially Mane's portrayal, very badass) but Zombie completely butchered this movie. The involvement of young michael and deborah's ghost completely ruined it. And what the coonoodle is up with the white horse!? JESUS!!! my mom and her boyfriend hated it, and they arent hardcore fans of the franchise..so there goes the theory that you MIGHT enjoy it if you dont give two Sheeps about Halloween. But...I loved the remake, where as i easily give this movie an F. That being said, I would still see it. At least to say you saw the most ridiculous "serious" horror movie you may ever experience. -Addison

Come on man.Bad dialog and asinine plots!!! Has anybody here even seen a real horror movie? Their tentpoles are bad dialog and stupid plots.

Walk into the theater expecting to see a Halloween like you've never seen before. Easily my forth favorite out of the series. Take Halloween 4 thru the god awful remake to the junkyard. Thumbs up.

Once again I agree with Indica..Now this sounds sucky...we will be begging them to bring Rob back.http://latimesblogs.latimes.com/entertainm...ummer-2010.html

ok ...saw it last night and loved it.Very very nasty kills scenes, and the acting was fine.Far better than the acting in any other myers flick.Yeah I agree they could have done without the ghostly young myers and mommy, but It really did not bother me.And he wore the mask thru most of the film despite others saying he did not.I happened to love the scene where he slammed the guy to the ground in the field, and stomped his head like a watermelon.Probably my favorite kill!!!And the white horse was explained in the beginning of the movie.Young mikey had dreams involving said horse and his mother .These were Michaels visions.Let's not forget that Berkowitz, the son of Sam killer took orders from a dog.All in all this is one helluva killfest and extremely realistic, but if you are epileptic close your eyes during the standoff at the end.lololthe soundtrack was fine to me, but I was happy to hear the familiar theme during the end credits, and i loved the ending.very fitting.
