Never saw the remake of F13TH but, was Derek Mears that good or memorable that you'd really miss him being Jason the second time around ? ...not looking for an argument.....Just wondering.

I really enjoyed his style and mannerisms. Sure, someone else may very well be able to do just as good, but we would lose that feeling of continuity. I feel there is no need to change Derek out, but then again, i did not work on the movie.

Funny how everyone trashed Derek and "boycotted" the film when he was going to play the part, but now after the movie they all love him. I did not like him from the beginning for the part and still did not see the movie. I still think Kane is the best and CJ did good too. I like the more vicious Kane though from Part 7. But it would be funny to see Jason go for a heel hook.
