Hey guys, Im pretty new to the forum, so go easy on me!! For starters, I know that this costume is not screen accurate. I felt that since there were 12 different versions of Jason, that mine wouldnt be too out of place if I came up with my OWN twist on Mr. Voorhees. I'm 6'4 (6'6 with boots) and have always been told I could pull off Jason due to my height and stature. So this year I figured what the hell, I will go all out and make my costume look as authentic as possible, but with my own vision. The mask is a custom molded .090 ABS plastic remake Hockey Mask constructed by Auzorann, (if you are looking for a VERY nice quality Remake Hockey Mask, hes the man). The Shirt is a dickies twill work shirt and has been nicely weathered by myself. I used various sharp instruments, bleach, paint, sandpaper and even the teeth on a packing-tape gun. The pants are actually black tactical pants that have been also weathered, ripped and tattered. My Machete is actually a real machete that has had the blade ground off, and the blade was painted by a guy down in San Diego. It is by far the coolest part of my costume! The hood is a Bellamy VS hood. Nuff said. Feel free to give me feedback. Being this is the first year I have ever dressed up for halloween, and decided to come up with my own creation, Im very excited at how well it turning out. Here is a pic to show my shirtI decided to redo my gloves and not tear them up, just sanded them and made them look very worn out. My undershirt for my costume is not complete yet, but am actually making a custom undershirt with latex and silicone thats custom painted to make my skin match the color of the hood. It really looks and feels like real skin! A friend of mine in North Hollywood showed me how to do it in his Studio and am having a blast!Feedback is appreciated!

Hey guys! Thanks for the compliments. This weekend I am making my custom arms so my skin matches my hood. Since I wasnt able to find any articles online, and was forced to go to a studio for help, I will write a "how to" article on making your arms look and feel like rotting flesh WITHOUT having to use latex or any other chemicals on your skin. This is completely safe for the sensitive skinned folks! So stay tuned!
