Well after years of wanting, waiting, researching, etc, I think I finally got a camera I am happy with. I took some test pics in dim lighting and some with the flash and I cannot believe how awesome they came out in high resolution! The flash makes the blood actually look a lot more red than it is because of the high gloss perma-wet, but that looked really cool. I am only an hour in using it and messing around, and the ones I took are mostly auto settings. I bought a "kit/bundle" after looking at 10 or more different ones at Walmart. I wanted to buy at Walmart so I can take it back if I had to, which I did before with a Kodak kits that actually worked great, but I did not know it took rechargeable batteries at the time, and thought I would be buying batteries every 3 minutes.I bought a 2 hour charger for only $2.00 more as opposed to an overnight one, $7 more I could have had an hour one, but 2 hours is good so I can actually get some work done while they charge lol. I could not find anything about on the net anywhere which is strange, but I went ahead and tried it anyway. It is a Vivicam T324, a HUGE upgrade to me Vivicam 10, which still takes decent pics outside and in bright lighting but I need higher resolution. It is a 12.1 and also takes decent video but I did not hear any sound, may have to use a microphone. I think it was like 60 fps or so, so now I can show my life-sizes/costumes hopefully on video. The youtube logo sold me too lol. Comes with SD 2GB card which seems to be plenty for me as I upload immediately usually, hard shell carrying case, Tripod, and SD card reader which I am not sure yet what that does, as I just plug the USB right into the port and it works.I bought Kodak rechargeable batteries along with the charger. Only thing I hate is that the camera takes AAA and you can only charge 2 or 4 at a time which messes the ratio up. I am going to buy 12 though and 4 sets of three to switch in and out. But yeah it's nice ot finally see my work in higher resolution and not have the quality canceled out indoors. I also had someone contact me wanting higher resolution pics of my Freddy costume for a book he is writing about horror movies. This has a lot of cool features and a good editor with it, and I can't wait to figure it all out and make my pics even better. I will have to figure out the sound thing to for video, so if anyone knows let me know. I thought I usec a microphone with my old camera but I forget, and also about the SD reader. I will read the whole manual tomorrow. Here are some test pics with mostly auto settings and some macro up close. I used the tripod on some and some I didn't, and did not use it or the anti-shake on the life-sized, that was just a standing regular pic. I did not even zoom and it caught the netting underneath the eyes and was a really brigh flash. I love it! Total for camera kit, batteries, and charger about $128.42. These are mostly high resolution but should be re-sized here. I will take some outside when I get a chance.Camera sized downSized downLargeSized DownLarge It works better to just download the file and zoom in and out until it is as big and clear as possible. I love the details of the pics with this camera eve on low lighting! Here is the rest of the test pics. Now I need to figure out all of the settings as I am still used to my old camera. Oh yeah Jason is missing the hands because I am taking it down being it was sold, but will try and get pics outdoors with them as well today. Thanks for all the tips!http://www.flickr.com/photos/31509295@N05/...ith/4028923478/

Sized down, up close with and without macro and flash. Don't want to fill the whole screen with a bunch lol. Just download to see full size. Took a few more outside, I will keep them sized down though. Love the colors turned out great. Snapped a quickone of the trees and leaves utside and they came out awesome in the sun. I added it to the album. These are mostly auto settings still, no edits really needed.
