is this a common occurence with masks?i know in the statue & collectible forums, these re-casts pop up very often.

Yeah they have to be recasts. They're definitely smaller and it looks like some of the texture was lost. Bad paint jobs too imo. They look like he was trying to do black and hispanic versions. I hope everyone here will think twice before buying something "professional made".

I don't know if the size gives it away. My brother owned a Saw Guy from Justin when they just came out and it was huge, but I got a copy from a collector months ago and it was much smaller, it actually fit. Some of the detail seemed distorted like a recast, however the finishing work was EXACTLY like Justin's, even smelt like it lol.Justin, did you make a smaller mold?

I wasn't following it too closely, but the link on the second one you posted was the EXACT description of the one that was sold a while back, so it has to be the same guy.

they are being displayed on similar stands, or even the same one- prolly the same person selling both under two different names.They both look like crap (paint wise)

They definitely look like re-casts and the pics look very similar if not the same as the sawguy that was sold a few weeks ago.-Jared
