Hey, I'm wondering if any of you guys have bought the new AVP game thats just come out? If so, how is it? Did any of you pick up the exclusive "Hunter Edition," with the facehugger? I'm aware that several critics/ reviewers have pretty much slammed the game but I have been looking forward to it for over a year now and I downloaded the demo and I really enjoyed it. I kinda wish they made a bit of a better job on the graphics I mean they function fine, but just look a little dated and not quite as "next gen," as I'd have hoped. If any of you got the hunter edition it would be cool to see some pictures of it. I am picking mine up from HMV tomorrow. I preordered the hunter edition, however, because of a screw up at Sega, they didn't all ship, so I should have mine within the next two weeks.

I bought the regular edition Tuesday when it came out. Already beat all 3 campaigns and really enjoyed them a lot. At first online play sucked because barely anyone was on but I don't have a problem with that anymore, lot of people on playing the game.

Hey peeps, just got back from HMV with my AVP Hunter Edition. Its pretty sweet and I'm happy with it, my only complaint is that over here in Europe we don't get the AVP graphic novel that you guys in the US get. <img src=\"style_emoticons/<#EMO_DIR#>/sweat.gif\" style=\"vertical-align:middle\" emoid=\"weat:\" border=\"0\" alt=\"sweat.gif\" /> If any of you have the graphic novel and would be willing to give it to me or sell it to me please send me a pm. <img src=\"style_emoticons/<#EMO_DIR#>/thanks.gif\" style=\"vertical-align:middle\" emoid=\":thanks:\" border=\"0\" alt=\"thanks.gif\" /> I'll take pictures of the facehugger unwrapped over the weekend for you to see it better with the 3D picture and Weyland patch, but I don't have time right now, I'm meeting my girl later and for now I just wanna get on the game for a couple of hours and go bug hunting and shout things at the TV like, "They're coming outta the walls....they're coming outta the Goddam walls!" haha. here it is: the Hunter Edition....<img src=\"http://i452.photobucket.com/albums/qq247/el_mariarchi_01/PICT0349.jpg\" border=\"0\" class=\"linked-image\" />You can see the facehugger through the plastic there....<img src=\"http://i452.photobucket.com/albums/qq247/el_mariarchi_01/PICT0348.jpg\" border=\"0\" class=\"linked-image\" />Nice steel tin game box with a rated "18 and over" sticker - hell yeah! A lot of the face hugger tails are falling off. There's a form you can fill-out to get a replacement sent.. you just gotta' give them one of the gamecodes. Of course.. I dunno how they check to see that the tail is off though.. I really wanted to pick this up when it came out but I downloaded the demo first and was a little let down. I'd still like to get it anyway but I think I may wait for a little while and pick up a cheap used copy off ebay.
