Wow that sucks. I don't live in the UK, but I can imagine how you must feel. I had to google "hand claw" because I have no idea what one is. <img src=\"http://lemurking.files.wordpress.com/2009/02/skull_bones_hand_claw_540.jpg\" border=\"0\" class=\"linked-image\" />I had no idea they even made enough of those to warrant a ban. I don't even know a guy, who knows a guy, who knows a guy that has one of those.

If the Fred glove was shipped with the claws placed back on the palm ( fist position) & then held in place with an elastic band the scanners would not have seen the blades.If the value was put at $20 & labeled as a gift & described as a Halloween display/toy customs would not have looked at it so hard.The $500 insurance value had customs frothing at the mouth for the additional taxes. <img src=\"style_emoticons/<#EMO_DIR#>/yes.gif\" style=\"vertical-align:middle\" emoid=\":yes:\" border=\"0\" alt=\"yes.gif\" />
