well, they wernt the same in all the films, ONLY VS. AND X were fiberglass hockey masks, im not sure of the exact material of all the others, they were mostly different though, but, if u get a Hockey Mask in fiberglass, just get Vs or X, those are the only ones that were fiberglass, Z

I was wondering the same thing. A few years ago I decided to buy a high end part 7 Hockey Mask that looked awesome. However, I was VERY disappointed by how light and cheap it felt when holding it. I think it was ABS and I guess this is what was actually used. I was expecting something heavy and rugged like I could imagine Jason wearing. Instead I had a beautifully painted piece of crappy plastic. It just seemed really fake and actually turned me off from hockey mask collecting.

the most reliable information states that the part 3 and 4 masks (made during part 3) were clear acrylic, pulled thin, part 6 was also clear acrylic, part 5 MAY have been ABS, part 7 was likely ABS, dunno about latter ones personally. From what I hear acrylic is hell to work with, most mask makers use vyvak as a substitute, its still a pain to work with compared to ABS.
