April 1st has been an exceptionally awesome day.To preface, James and I have been corresponding through email and PM for over a year now. Because we live decently close to one another, I referred him to a local molding/casting place that could possibly help speed up the production of his new "His Unlucky Day" busts. He loved the shop and ended up using their services to produce his entire first run of resin castings.Once notified the castings were finished and ready to pick up, he invited me to meet him, his wife, and another family member at the shop to retrieve the blanks and go have lunch together. We met outside the shop today and freaked out over his new castings for a while, I presented him with pull #8 of my "Party Crasher" run, and then we "nerded" our way through various topics and collection pieces with each other and the shop's owners for about an hour. Afterward, all of us drove to the closest Cracker Barrel. There, we ate a fine meal and discussed just about everything for about 5 solid hours until James finally had to make his way back home. All three of them were great company and it was very fun and oddly reassuring to hang out with another friend in person who feels absolutely normal talking about molds, sculpting techniques, movie makeups, the most minute details of replicas, Jason actors, and mask makers like it's second nature to them. <img src=\"style_emoticons/<#EMO_DIR#>/laugh.gif\" style=\"vertical-align:middle\" emoid=\"\" border=\"0\" alt=\"laugh.gif\" /> I hope to hang with them again sometime. I really appreciate the opportunity James provided to see so much totally cool stuff up close and personal, as well. <img src=\"style_emoticons/<#EMO_DIR#>/smile.gif\" style=\"vertical-align:middle\" emoid=\"\" border=\"0\" alt=\"smile.gif\" />After receiving his approval, I've attached a few images I took at the mold shop and all the various Jason incarnations that were present with us. "His Unlucky Day" is *SENSATIONAL*, and I fully recommend this piece to any Part 4 or general Jason collector...To miss out on this opportunity would be absolutely unfortunate!Enjoy the images!
