Funny that it'd be fan made and be around before this film was made since it coincidentally has the same red font letters.

this appears to be a FvsJ "<u>promo</u>" poster from <b><u>1996</u></b>the funny thing is to make this promo poster they have used the <u>secondary hero glove</u> worn by <b>Lisa Zane</b> (Maggie Burroughs) in <b>Freddy's Dead</b>.just compare the solder markings/patterns and other details on the copper fingers they are the exact same:<img src=\"http://fotos.fotoflexer.com/12dc279316076e67923d887bbc9a5ac9.jpg\" border=\"0\" class=\"linked-image\" />

Perhaps it was supposed to be a direct sequel to Freddy's Dead hence the same glove perhaps?Jason with a chrome mask would had been interesting.

Was the same glove used in JGTH at the very end? If so,it would explain a great deal then since as you say the mask resembles the JGTH one.
