    I use copper pipe to make my glove and its always a pain to work with hahahahYour blade looks KILLER.

    The original was 1" copper pipe. At the never sleep again signing Lou carlucci had a book witha bunch of photos of him building the Hero glove.. All the pieces were copper pipe.

    looking at movie stills from the movie,the part 1 glove was not made using real thick copper pipes.

    HUh well Ross heard and seen it from thee man! so i would say it is pipe? And If im not mistaken robert even says says it was heavy? THere are different type of copper pipe one inch red label with about a .035 wall thickness is not too bad too work with and is not too too heavy. anyone else have any info on this ?

He even indicated that this influenced the way Freddy stands, with shoulders tilted.

    yes robert said that in the never sleep again documentary but when we look at picture the coper dosent look that thick but who knows mabe it was really made from coper pipes!!!! i made one so why couldent they Smile

    I went straight to the source and asked Mike Becker if the armature is heavy and he said it's "pretty light". Case closed. SmileRemember... we were also told that the knives that were used on the original glove were Ekco steak knives... and we all know what baloney that was.

What Becker finds pretty light, Englund might find pretty heavy, so really all of these anecdotes are meaningless. Get Becker to put it on a scale and then it will be case closed.
