On The Way To A Costume Contest When...

I was on the way to an afternoon costume contest (which I won as the Vs Jason, $1,000.00 easy money), when I spotted a ton of black smoke coming from an area about 12 blocks from where the contest was to be held. It was in the downtown area so I thought to myself, what the hell kind of factory is pumping that much shit out on a saturday. We had time, so we cut over a few lanes to go and check it out. It was sooooo worth the detour. I never leave the house without a digicam so I\'m able to post some pretty cool pics of what we saw. I took about 34 photos but here are 5 of the better ones.

man . did they say what caused it on the news yet ? hope everyone got out safe . or maybe it\'s one of those things that the firefighters do to practice .

That last pic is cool as hell... looks to be straight out of a movie. That "13" on the firetruck makes the whole thing a little whacked out. It\'s a terrible thing that happened.... but damn great pics!

I saw one of the worst chemical fires in Cleavland\'s history. The place was a blazin\' and stuff was blowing up!

It was an abandoned warehouse so it was empty. Had to be arson. I had emailed a few of the pics to a local news station and they told me to look for them on the 11:00 broadcast. They didn\'t get there until it was almost extinguished.

cool pics man. Richmond huh? You\'re only about 40-50 minutes away from me. I use to do work for Crescent Plumbing in Richmond and DC years and years ago.

It\'s a nice town, lots of historic looking stuff. Great pics man.

I\'m actually outside the city limits. It\'s a rare occasion when I go into the city. I like to have some space around me that isn\'t covered by buildings. The historic areas are cool but the way I see it is that as long as you can\'t hit your neighbor\'s house with a .22 rifle, you\'re home.
