Quote:I got one too! I also bought one from the site that he drew a very comical picture of Freddy in. It was cool of him to do that.... Im simply having trouble understanding the logic behind his judgement if it was in fact Robert that judged the entries.
Please dont misunderstand me. Everyone deserves credit for their art work.
    But honestly........

    This won....

if robert really did judge it then the only thing i can think of is this....his logic being that real good appliance job was done by a seasoned pro maybe....and the drawing, although not great or terrible could have been done by an amature, maybe someone in there teens...not that teens couldnt do that freddy appliace job though....but yeah it boggles my mind too

yeah, or perhaps he\'s tired of seeing masks and burnmakeup over and over and was looking for something he considered fresh and new.

I do think that\'s one of the worst drawn gloves I\'ve ever seen though, imo.

I agree, that glove ain\'t all that great... But I\'m with Mark on this one, That make up job is AMAZING... I like Oliver\'s Freddy... Looks freaky. Really demonic...

oh yeah, I\'m not trying to take anything away from that. It was a great makeup job and the chest of souls appliance looked excellent too.

I\'m just thinking, this is ROBERT ENGLUND, he\'s the one who\'s been in THE makeup, so it\'s probably harder to impress him with latex, then it is with pencil and ink.

    Just a thought.

hmmmmm I think you have a very good point there. Also he may not know how to draw and thought that it was good, comical, witty? I like it when amatures win.

I can\'t think of any justification for the decision. The makeup job was, simply, a million times better than that terrible drawing.

IMO i think he picked someone that looks like they hardly ever win so they can feel good about winning something . i mean don\'t you get sick and tired of ALWAYS seeing the same people win every contest ? if it\'s going to be like that and you know that your going against someone that will win for sure , what\'s the point in entering ? I just think it\'s a good and nice way to show his fans that everyone no matter what can win at something . pro or amature , kid or adult , it doesn\'t matter cuz they all deserve a fair chance . right?

Yeah, you have a point and I really am happy for those that won and a big congrats to all that entered. Im sure everyone gave it their best effort but I thought this was American Idol not The WB Super Star.....

    mike,
I don\'t agree with that. If you\'re going to have a contest, pick the best guy...period. Don\'t just give someone first place because you feel sorry for him. That\'s just my opinion.
