Got A New Blurb For The Back Of My Flyer Book From A Punk Icon!

I am so excited. Keith Morris from Black Flag and the Circle Jerks, wrote something for me.I am waiting to hear back from my buddy Jimmy from Down and also Pepper Keenan from Corrosion of conformity, Down, and Crowbar.Funny thing is, Phil Anselmo from Pantera asked to write something, but I haven't got back with him.He is ok now, but when I was in the scene as a kid, he was glam, and called us dirty little punk rockers.Now whenever there is an interview he speaks of the hardcore/punk scene like he was there. He wasn't.It would be cool I guess to have him say something, cause I know he has loads of fans, but I would feel like a sellout.Pat

That's awesome! What kind of a book are your writing? I am a bass player and a lead singer for a local band myself so you have me interested. I have a punk and rock background myself Yeah and don't sell out man! However Phil is all about hardcore, grindcore type stuff now I guess. Back in 01 during the reinventing the steel tour I was in Dallas and hung out with Dime at his house etc Phil was cool but kept to himself alot until I mentioned my love of horror and then he was all chatty with me. Told me about house of shock etc. Is he still partial owner of that? Anyway congrats man!

I don't think Phil has anything to do with the house of shock anymore. If I see Ross, I can ask him.The book is old punk flyers from 1982-1995.
