Anyone else pumped fpr sonic 4 next monday? I really hate the whole download concept (I would rather have a disk) but I love the original sonic series for the genesis. I will have this as soon as it shows up on the download channel.

I'm as ready as I'll ever be. This is my most anticipated XBLA title ever.

it's been too long for a good sonic game to come back . i remember my friends brother got a copy of the original sonic 4 on a floppy disc when they were making the game and cancelled it . i played it and it was pretty cool but afer you beat i think the 3rd level , you go through the " flag " at the end and the screen went blank besides sonic and he just keeps running . i have no idea what he did with the game but would imagine it'd be worth some money these days .

Sonic = Run fast, get rings, go through loop, hit spikes, lose rings, rinse and repeat. I wouldn't mind playing it, they have it for the iPhone already, but I don't know if it's going to be the same game or not, I haven't seen an reviews yet.

I'm 2/3ds of the way through this and I'm pretty happy with it and think it's a huge step in the right direction for sonic. It does have some faults though.

The physics are a bit off but not so much they kill it or anything. There are some unsonic like moments like the moving wall section and the graphics could have been updated a bit more. And the biggest one is that they rehashed some levels from previous soic games. That was to be expected though. Over all I'm having a great time with it. If they fix some of these things for episode two we could be in for something really great next year.

The only really bad things are that it took 16 years and ended up being episodic rather than a full disc release. Sonic's back and it's about time.
