Pinhead 1.1 What Nails To Use?

hi guys well a friend of mine is sending me a blank 1.1 pinhead soon and i was wondering what nails to use with this? any ideas what has the right shape head etc,i know most nails dont have names lol but im sure they come in d :biggrin: ifferent sizes so hope u guys can help!!

To me they look like finishing nails. The small brass finished ones that you use to secure footboards around kitchen cabinets. Something like these.........


or maybe these if you want something that isn't brass or doesn't have the rounded heads..........

Hopefully theses pics help, This is my pinhead bust and mine has real nails in them. Depending what the mask is made out of you can use real nails if latex you probaly have to use something else.

My Buddy Martin worked on Hellraiser III. For the makeup, he used Q tips, with thumbtacks shoved in the end and sprayed gold. It does seem using gold finishing tacks would work better though!

Whatever you do, don't get them TOO big. Pinhead busts with huge nails kinda ruin it for me. The ones that Josh posted are about perfect. After all, he is PINHEAD...not NAILHEAD, ya know? haha

Yup, that's Howard's Pinhead. Best version to date in my opinion. Here is a behind the scenes picture of Doug having the make-up applied which shows the shape of the pins pretty well.
