you know its kind of funny to think how we obsess over a mask when making it. when they changed that kirk mask back in 78, you know they just did it, not really being anal about where a scuff mark is, and then you had the mask. same with hockey masks. im sure whoever made the part 3 mask didn\'t freak out and try to get the smudge/scuff on the forehead perfect... it was just a mark... my point is, the guys who made these masks just kind of threw it together and then we, the fans, freak out over it, trying to replicate those mistakes. just thought it was funny.

but at those times the masks werent iconic with the following thats been built over the years....

so at this point i can see where us fans get a little anal every now and then

isn\'t in funny, they prob put like 1 hour into the mask if that, and we spend hard hours of work money to own a mask that looks as close as possible to the real mask that cost at the most $20 to make back then
