    Well I live right on the coast of NC. The storm should make landfall right were I live in about 6 hrs. For you guys on the east coast Be safe. Going by the winds here already it\'s going to be a hell of a ride.

    As an operating engineer in a skyscraper in downtown manhattan I have the pleasure of being on storm watch for 48hrs in a building that is listed in an evacuation zone. Wish me luck!

    I\'m ready for the storm! I have my surf board waxed and the para-sail hooked to the back of my truck. Look out Irene here I come!!
    I\'m on the east coast of PA i will let you all know by tomorrow how my area is.

    We\'re supposed to get 6 -10 inches of rain here. I\'m a bit concerned for my sister who lives in VA Beach area.
