With Mattel releasing their officially licensed Hoverboard I ordered it and it should be here sometime next week. Because of that and because I have a few prop pieces already from the second movie.... Biffco Museum tickets, Grays Sports Almanac, the color changing hat, and the dehydrated pizza hut pizza. I thought I should get some Nike Mags to display on my Hoverboard. Of course we know the real Nike Mags are extremely expensive, there is a seller on Ebay that sells bootleg versions of the shoes. They don\'t have the logos on them but as a bonus he sends rubber decals (of all the logos to apply and make them accurate). Where my project comes in is I will be taking them apart and installing electroluminescent sheets and LEDs in them myself like I did with my Proton Pack so I can make them really shine and look like the real thing. There is a guy who has video tutorials of how to do the whole process so I don\'t have to figure it all out myself. Here are videos of the shoes I\'ve got on the way along with the tutorials the guy did. I\'m pretty stoked to see how this project comes together.

    Thanks dude!

I got my hoverboard today. I\'m working on some Nike Mag conversions soon to display with it.

I did my shoe conversion earlier this year. I didn\'t have el strip for the sole lights. My blue sole lights are just blue led so they don\'t have the arc pattern shape. They are a bit of a challenge. That foam is pretty tough. I made mine non wearable. So all the wiring and batteries are inside the shoe.

    Here\'s my next project

Had it about 8 years now. Also have about 80-90% of the conversion parts.
How do you like the hoverboard? Is it worth it?

that\'s so awesome, I know the foam is going to be pretty tough. I have a friend that helped me with my Proton Pack who will help me with this so we get it done quicker with two of us working on it. I got the dollhouse wire tape in today. I am waiting on the EL sheet to get here, the shoes, and some EL tape with inverters then I can get started! I honestly love my Hoverboard I know there were a lot of complaints around it but it\'s accurate enough in my eyes. I have to walk by that collection every night to go to bed and I stop and stare at it all all the time! I am so jealous of the Delorean!!! I want a converted one and a converted 59 miller meteor ambulance into the Ecto. One day I keep telling myself I\'ll have both.
Today I added the 2015 Griff helmet signed by Tom Wilson (Biff, Griff, Buford)
