i was wondering if it would be possible for someone who has 2 armatures to maybe send one my way just for use to sculpture a mask ? i\'d send it back with the clay still on it ready for the maker to mold it and if he wants the rights to the mask then that\'s fine . i just really wanna try for my first mask . here are the ideas i had for my first sculpture :

    freddy
    LF (prefer remake)
    scream
any jason would be fine with me
and myers but i only want to make h5 or h6 as those are kinda my favs and hardly anyone has tried to make them .

Its quite simple to make your own really.. go to walmart buy you a pound of plaster. Next buy you a razor.. then buy some pam cooking spray. Next we will need some resin of sort... Fiberglass..(bondo).. or something hard like ultra cal 30.. maybee even spray foam in a can.. Ok Get your razor out.. now shave your whole head. After that mix up your ultra cal in a 5 gallon bucket.. ok heres the hard part.. Grasp both hands on the bucket.. lift your back up and do a head stand.. similar to how us rednecks do "Keg Stands" (ummmm.... beeerrrrr).. now then take a deap breath.. and squuiiish.... hold your breat for a bout 15-20 mins... shlould setup... after that demold yourself;..whats that you say?? How?? Well i cant help you there but after you get out.. spray the pam spray inside the "MOLD" wow.. you just made your first mold.. congrats! Smile Now then take your resin or whatever.. foam.. doesnt matter.. insert and fill up your ""MOLD".. and Volia!!! Yo have done it!!!

    Congrats..

I "Michael" cannot and willnot be held responsible for the sole purposes of herein.. or persons unwillingly making molds and armatures.

    Smile Smile Smile Smile Smile

Here is an easy way out for ya.
Go to Home Depot and get a Lazy Susan kit, 2 round pieces of pressed board and a spin kit.. Then grab a piece of PVC 1 inch pipe and a flange. You need a little screw piece to connect the pipe to the flange. Get a wig head and scrape the inner hole a little bigger and slide it on the PVC.
    Presto!!
You will need to measure eye distance and the neck and head sizes on yourself or someone else and add a bit to those measurements.
Total cost will be about $25...

The thing about shipping a piece done in clay is that its going to get destroyed durring shipping Sad Dont be hell bent on making a mask too soon. Just practice and have fun

Just curious, what would you do differently with Scream? I mean, other than what you can buy at the store for $4.99 around Halloween time?

    hey Tully Big Grin ,

well what i would do different with scream is make it more durable like the movie one and have better shape . i hate it when i see a scream mask that is totally flat and a sideways mouth . i would hope to make one that is thick latex so it can hold some shape to it . now as the clay shipping thing goes , as gmyers knows i pack my items very very good with many layers of foam shells , newspaper , and i wrap the item in bubble-wrap a few times . so i\'m pretty sure it would get to the maker just fine .also when i get done with the sculpture i can go see Tully and get his opinion and maybe get some pics taken so all of you can see since we both live in the same city Smile .
