Saw this movie last night at a Midnight showing...what a steaming pile of sh!+! I can\'t even begin to descibe how disappointed I was with this movie! It was more a Parody of Blade than a sequel! David Goyer who wrote the first two films wrote and directed this one. It was his first time directing and I think the 1st time one of his scripts made it to the screen unaltered...because even the story sucked! They must have polished the hell out of his first two scripts is the only thing I can guess. The best part of the movie was Ryan Reynolds as Hannible King...and if you seen Van Wilder you have seen what he does in this movie for the most part. Wesley as Blade doesn\'t even seem to care. Kris Kristofferson as whistler just plain seems like he doesn\'t give a sh!+. Jessica Biel as Whistler\'s daughter is completly under used. And the rest of the cast is awful I hope to never see that guy that plays Dracula/Drake again! Parker Posey as one of the main vamps seems like she is on Jack Daniels and Qualudes! And Triple H yet another wrestler turned actor is just plain f@#kin\' annoying!
and get this his vamp has fangs made of Silver! ummm why
would a creature that can be killed by silver have teeth made of it? And that is one of the most minor plot holes!
The fights are lack luster to say the least...none of them shows off Wesley\'s Talent at martial arts at all...hell even the wire work in this film is bad! Oh and you\'ll just love the vampire dogs yes you heard right get ready for a Vampire Pomeranian! and his vamp Rottweiler buddies. All I can say after seeing this film is I hope David Goyer is never allowed to direct another film...the man has no sense of style or vision or even basic story telling ability. Word of Advice to ya Dave stick to script writing where your errors will have a better chance of being noticed and fixed before they make it to the big screen.
