No, I don\'t think Dan will say that. Both he and I had DMC masks in the past. He had a 5 and i had a 6. I know he didn\'t think much of his mask, and i didn\'t of mine. However, it would appear that they have gotten better with their paint jobs on certain masks. I wish i knew how to post pics on this board to show you all how different my 6 mask looked from the one posted in this thread. It\'s like night and day. Lammert\'s 6 mask is nearly dead on accurate. Only things missing are the blood stains and the .357 bullet hole.

Dan knows better not to speak harshly cause i\'ll stomp all over \'em. LOL.

No I don\'t agree that the 6 is 100% accurate. Granted it;\'s a nice mask and does resememble the mask in some scenes, it\';s just not dead on for me. Their paint jobs are too grainy. ALSO, AND I NEED TO YELL ABOUT THIS...DO YOU REALLY THINK A FRIDAY THE 13TH FAN IS PAINTING THESE...NO NO NO NO!!! SOME DUDE SITS THERE AND LOOKS AT A COUPLE PICS. WHAT DOES THE GATES OF HELL HAVE FOR REFERENCE..LET ME THINK. He has the real deal at his disposal and a keen eye for most of the details on this masks. he\'s the best. Some DMC masks have been pretty good but they\'ve fallen off as accurate hockey masks in my book. My part 5 looked just like the one Lammert had.

Lammert, that part 5 that Gary posts is one that Justin took many months to make. In certain scenes the mask looks just like that. I think that mask blows away any DMC 5

if you are wondering what I have against dmc masks, look at the f5 that is on the flesh colored hackhood on the NIGHTOWL main mask page. I got mine and it was orange. Your f5 is a little bit better. I have seen ones from dmc that are awesome, but that was when they first opened. Yours is a nice mask and the six is decent, but the next person that gets one may suck. I agree with dan that there are no friday the thirteenth fans painting these masks, and I gathered that david miller himself does not inspect the quality. I e-mailed and asked why my mask was orange and they gave me the excuse that it was not finished.

Well when I got the masks I put them next to a few Friday 5 pictures and it seemed the same(color etc.). The only different I could spot are the straps and the blue cheek things that are a little darker on my DMC.
Take a look at the pics I took again in the first post, in the first pic the mask looks kind of whiteish/greyish and in the third picture it looks yellowish.

    And here is another pic.

I\'m not bashing your mask or dmc. yours is nice and I\'ve seen ones even nicer, that\'s why I ordered one. all I am saying is the one I got, I wasn\'t happy with. oh and I said I didn\'t like your part six either. sorry about that

Gary has a point, I\'ve seen some great DMC masks and I\'ve seen some that really need work. Take a look at Creeping Dead\'s DMC 4, it looks awsome but I\'ve also seen some that look just down right grainy. I think it depends on who you get to paint the mask since I\'m pretty sure there\'s more than one person painting them.

I agree with you guys that DMC can be inconsistant. I know this cause ive owned a mask from them and wasn\'t to happy with it. In regards to the 6 mask, watch the film. You\'ll see what i mean. I even have a 6 from Justin and it looks almost identical to the one that Lammert has. The mask is not suppose to look white. Even in the beginning of the movie, the mask isn\'t pure white. As i said in a previous reply in this thread, the scene that best shows the mask i think is the part where he puts the girls face through the mirror in the trailor home bathroom scene. Not to mention, go look on C.J.\'s site and look at the "FEARSOME THREESOME" photo, and you\'ll see the mask is a dirty brownish/yellow color.

I know this is a matter of opinion, and that\'s cool. GOH does have a screen used mask to go off of so that\'s always a big plus. But it\'s also cool that DMC will custome paint your mask upon request. So i guess if you are going to order from them and are afraid that you may get a mask that isn\'t up to your standards, send them a picture of the mask your getting and tell them you want it painted just like in the photo you send them. Also, since their masks come out of the original mold, the masks are going to be the correct size. Where as, masks made from a mold made from a mask, the mask is going to be smaller correct?? Im not sure about that though so feel free to disagree.
