I believe the saw in TCM 03 was a newer Husquavarna (sp?) I think there was a problem getting 5 or 6 of the exact same model of vintage saws, so they went with a couple year old Husq saw and aged them a ton. I think there were about 6 or 7 saws all together, a few real, a few stunt.

I\'m almost certain the saw in TCM 2003 was a modified Husqvarna, just not sure which model. I have a 55 rancher husky and with the exception of the color and blade length it looks pretty damn close.

55 Rancher sounds familiar, I know it was a Husqvarna, just not 100% on the model.

Yeah, I looked at a pic of the Husqvarna 55 Rancher and it sure does look a lot like the one used in the movie.

Here\'s the saw I got for my TCM fan film. It\'s a McCulloch 7-10 Automatic with a 20" blade. I payed $50.00 for it on ebay. The auction said I runs, I hope they are right. I think we may do the bike chain thing, too. I have no idea how to do it, but I have a cousin who works at an equipment rental place, we\'ll see if he can do it... I just send my MO for it today, so I can\'t wait to get it and crank it up. Good times! (Glad to know I got the same brand as the original!) Later!!!

Yeah, but yers is accurate to the movie, mine isn\'t. Hell, I was just pumped to get a chainsaw at $50.00, much less one that was yellow like the movie. Good times!!!
