    hey Mike man
im sorry to hear about all this. I have an idea, mabye send emails to those who want the Hockey Mask, and include them to write an essay about what this hobby and collecting it means to them. And if you feel that they have put heart into it.............they have passed the test,lo, just a little suggestion.
    sorry again bro
    take care

    Hey Mike,

I just thought about that. Before anyone thinks that I am one of the people wanting to recast the mask Let me clear up what I meant.

See, I hate as much as anyone else that this many problems come up with this pull. It has caused alot of hard feeling\'s with alot of cool people. And all of this is my fault because....

It was my fault that Kenny ever got the pull. I had a shot at it way before and right up to the point where he got it. And I passed. If I have gotten it and kept it myself, None of this would have ever happend. So I kinda feel that it is my fault lol. Hope that clears things up on what I meant.

    hey all
just to clear up a few things since this has gotten way to far i know for a fact that the original purchaser of the blank that was bought off ebay years ago and now mike and ryan have in their possesion had a mold made from it before the original pull was sold so there is already a mold out there so i wouldnt worry about anyone recasting this was keep to the original buyers self just to have for personal use
    later

Quote:This is going to way off topic, but, if you compare the pictures of that prototype to the screen used mask pics, there are some things that are different, and I don\'t mean in the paint.  The main thing that catches my attention is the vent hole on the right side of the mask directly next to the six mouth holes.  It looks like it\'s too high.  I don\'t think the masks in the earlier films is like that either.  Don\'t take this as a criticism.  I could be wrong.  And if I am, someone plese post a movie still of the mask that will show it for me.  Anyway, sorry to hear about all the recasting problems.

You are wrong. These blanks are unaltered, first-gen pulls. Perfect, perfection, perfect-o-tastic, perfectorama, Mr. Perfect. This is the SAME thing that Ken Tarallo is now selling, and the SAME thing that was used in Part 6. There are only two differences in Ken\'s masks and our masks:

1.) Ours are painted and drilled with the best paint job available, whereas Ken\'s blanks are uncut, undrilled, and unpainted.
2.) Ours (will) cost $150 LESS ($250 ) than Ken\'s masks, even though - as stated above - they\'re finished copies from the same mold generation.

And yeah, we\'re thinking $250 now instead of $300...Although C.J.-autographed, strapped copies would still run around $300.

And as for this whole thing about recasting, that\'s utter bullshit. Why flood the market like that? All we want to do is help create the best replicas available for collectors. Our big advantage over the competition is that Mike offers the BEST PAINT AVAILABLE on part 6 hockey masks at this point in time. No matter who recasts us or Ken, Mike will still have an edge over the competition. That is why I came to him in the first place.

Yes, what is this "damn shame" you speak of? Care to elaborate?

As I said in the other thread, if you have any questions or doubts, PLEASE feel free to address either Mike or me about it...
