Need Help With Opinions

hey guys , I know all of you are experts at this kinda thing which i\'m clearly not . So I ordered a blank Kemper from Mark awhile back and am now about half way finished with it . I\'m not looking for bashing or anything negative as that only starts fights and that won\'t be allowed in my threads . All i\'m looking for is some helpful opinion on what I can do to better my one and only mask . What I thought about doing to it next is making the blood alittle darker , punching the hair in , and adding some gell blood . I\'m just not sure if that\'s the best way to go so thus the reason for me asking the pros . thanks for your time guys and I have a friend posting the pics for me .

An airbrush \'would\' help.... But... Here is something that might help.
Take a \'chip brush\', the kind you buy at Home Depot for about 50 cents. Take your flesh, brown and red on your pallette. Take the brush and pat it in the flesh and put a thin layer of flesh on the mask. Then, without cleaning the brush pat it in the brown now pat pat pat the mask. It will add a pretty nice stipple effect. Now a little, just a little, red. You want the colors to bleed together just a bid so its not so harsh.... You can get a cool effect without being a \'skilled\' artist or painter. The lips, well, just dont make such a harsh line of color. Wet paints blend nicely together so blend the flesh into the lips a bit...
The blood.... Red, black and a bit of red food coloring. You WILL need to seal it when finished. Take a toothbrush and splatter some on there also. Might help.
Oh, and stuff the mask if its laying flat... Looks a little silly :wink:

Test the technique on a piece of paper or cardboard first til you get the hang of it
