    Hey guys
Well after just 4 pulls from my 1984 Nightmare mold, it appears that there are tiny little holes appearing in the plaster. Should i be washing the mold out after each pull or something? Please help me out and please post any tips for caring for the mold to make it last longer.
    cheers guys
    -Chris

what you really should do is make a master copy before you do any other pulls, this master copy can then be used to make a copy mold in the future if your two piece mold looses too much detail or becomes unusable. what kind of plaster did you use to make your mold?

i\'m not sure what insustrial strength casting plaster is, but definalty make a master copy and a copy mold using either ultracal30, hydrocal white, or #1 pottery... I used ultracal30 and acryl60 plaster hardener, and I think I could make about 17,000 pulls before the mold started to loose detail.

Im mean the holes arn\'t really that big. There about the size of a piece of dirt on you face. But i will make some production molds.

In Mikes case, those would be some pretty big holes.
