what we definitally dont need is a damn f vs j sequel! i do think it might be cool for a f13 redo but that would depend on the director.

i do aree with spaz, but instead of 1, 2 and 3 maybe 2, 3 and 4
since they are relitivly close together, ad some inbetween stuff like showing jason shaving his head!

I dont think theyll remake any of those films.Thw Weinsteins are splitting up right now and thats whats Holding up H9, and as long ass equals are gonna be made, i dont think theyll remake them, but who knows these days.its all about the cash..........

i\'ve hated every remake they\'ve made in the past ten years, quit already. the one thing they can never understand is that the reason we love the originals is for the very actors that are in it. i don\'t want to see other people play characters that i grew up on!!!

Well said Pugsly, It is all about the cash. They could make a really great remake of Halloween and Friday the 13th but instead, if they do make them they will do a half assed job on it and pay no respect to the origanal at all. They will just go in and make a film thats it. I still would like to see it because there is some hope that it could be good, I\'m a big fan of Halloween, and F13 so, i\'ll still want to see them, and like I said above I would like to see what they do with there masks!

I think one thing that gives the original so much character and makes them so unique and...original, is the fact that they were done on low budgest and filmed in short periods of time. It\'s like they knew what they had to do and didn\'t have time to second guess themselves and worry if everything was just perfect.

Some films are suitable to be ramade and others aren,t. You,ve got to be able to diversify the story a little, give it a different slant. That,s why the TCM remake was a success, I actually prefered it to the original, and believe me I still like the original. However, you then have remakes like "Psycho" and "Diabolique",totally pointless,in as much they didn,t change the script one bit.I simply don,t think Halloween or Friday 13th are suitable candidates, and I don,t believe anyone is seriously considering it.Maybe they are just trying to stir up some attention.

"Halloween:Retribution" is still being made, so I doubt that they\'ll re-make it, I hope to high heaven that they wont re-make "Friday the 13th" it\'s sacriligeous.
