Blood Painting

I am planning on turning a part 3 hood into a part 4, but I have never painted latex before and need help painting blood. Can someone give me some tips?

maybe a good mixture of liquid latex and acrylic paint with a little water to thin it out?

as long as the latex ratio was good it could work, but I still wouldnt bend the mask much after that, but it would work for a display for sure

just what puckface said, i take cheap store bought fake blood and mix it with latex and then thin it out with water. It looks great and the better the blood color the better ther esults. 2 other ways of doing it is tot ake paint or stage blood adn mix it with rubber cement, you can thin it with napitha, or just let it run thick, which gives a very gross thick juicy look. Or instead of latex and rubber cement youc an use a substance called prosaid, you can get it form spfx shops, its pretty cheap, mix your blood or paint up in that the same way, thin that with rubbing alcholol and it gives a similar result. tamiya clear red should work fine, one of the best blood colors out there, i usually add a touch of brown to darken it up a bit.
