The Burning always creeped me out as a kid, possibly because the Cropsy story felt more "urban legend"-ish than the other slashers.

MGM keeps threatening to put it out on DVD, but I wonder if the Weinsteins are clamping it down (it was one of their first flicks. One of them wrote it.)

i have one of those too...great old 80s flick for sure. Jman Alexander, Holly Hunt and Fischer Stevens...before they were anybody...gotta love cropsy...
