I think someone a while ago asked this question... What is a good way to display a glove but won\'t cost much or anything? I just ordered a glove from "FreddyGloves.com" and I wanna display so, please post away on your ideas.

    Thanks,
    Jon Big Grin

Well, this is VF\'s idea but I\'ll post it for him. Just take a board about the same horizontal width of your hand, and drive five nails in the board in the pattern of four fingers and a thumb. Then bend the nails the way you want them and wrap them in tin foil until they are thick enough. Then throw your glove on that, and maybe add something so the board will stand up, and there ya go!

Go to your local art dealer & buy a hand armature or look on line for one, or get some alginate & make a cast of your hand then fill it with some kind of plaster of your choice but I think a hand armature would be your best bet, I think they are pretty cheap.

Hope you find something that works out for ya.

Bob has a good idea, but the glove can be tough to get on a static, stiff armature. Works great for a perminante display though! Here\'s what I did for mine, VERY inexpensive, works good, and looks cool! I bought a cheap prop hand from a Party City (they\'re available anywhere) I cut the end off and pulled out the foam inside, once it\'s empty you can easily stick it in the glove. I then got a chunk of unfinished hard wood (for glove only, 12\" x12\" would work) slapped on a little minwax, then attached a piece of plumbing pipe. Stuff a couple plastic shopping bags in the hand stump and slide it over the pipe. For an added touch you could even get a small engraved name plate for a few more bucks.

    i use...

a caulk bottle thing. and then i drilled 2 holes at opposite ends on the base right by the pouring tip. and then i cut a metal coat hanger and then i stuck one piece in each hole that i drilled. then it looks badass!
