Tall Boots?

Anyone have any tips on how to make someone taller for a costume? Like for a part 6 Jason costume persay? lol I may be completing my costume this year, and im about 6 feet, but I want to add a couple inches more, like 4 or 5... Anyone got any tips?

well, i can tell ya what i used for my hagrid boots. I wear a size 14 shoe. SO i bought a pair of 20 dollar walmart black boots...The ones that extend up to about mid calf. I got them that high because it gave me much more stability. I then ran out to home depot and got 5 fencing planks. I traced out the sole of the boot on the planks and separated the heel from the rest of the sole and cut them out. I made two of those. I then steadily enlarged each one after that so that i would have a large sole/heel at the bottom for further stability. After gluing them all together and attaching them to the shoe via screws, I added a pair of Dr Scholls inserts inside of them and cut out a rubber sole out of a welcome mat so that i wouldnt slip around....and viola...hagrid boots <img src=\"http://img.photobucket.com/albums/v471/Homicidal9/hagrid1.jpg\" border=\"0\" class=\"linked-image\" />Tommy

This might help. I found that DEMONIA BOOTS are wicked looking and add a great deal of height. Depending on what style of boot you chose they are also very light weight allowing you to perform longer without ankle fatique. I have used 2 different styles for my MYERS & JASON costumes. **this is great becuase people dont see you have lifts on you look taller the same way dick warlock had his in halloween 2**i got a new one great for fvsj boots i seen on fridaythe13thfilmsforumget a pair of boots an old par of high heels with wide heels, make sure the high heels fit in you boots cut off the straps. go to the dollar store get a pair of flip flops cut off the straps and with some contact cement attach the flip flops to the high heelsif you want you can bulk up the actual treads i nused a wood frame and expanding foam you cant try wood blue foam etc- Aaron dick warlock had 3'' cork insoles but this works just as godd and a ton cheaper
