I think there needs to be way you can post on the board to let people know how a purchase/Transaction went, similar to ebays feedback system. I know the rules state you are not suppost to rag on someone if they ripped you off but how can you warn other unsuspecting board members about bad sellers/buyers so they do not get burned as well from a person who regularily rips people off. Any suggestions on how this can be done and do you agree or disagree this is needed on board such as NIGHTOWL. I personally think there needs to be a way to warn people about this especially if it a person who has done it multiple times. Anyway this is my 2 cents worth, thanks.

We have a feedback forum at MM.net and it works great! I vote yes for it to be added.

I would like to see a Feedback section as well. However, i have in the past bought once from an artist or collector, had a good expierence, then bought from again and had a crappy expierence. orHad someone tell me that a particular person is good to deal with or no good and expirenced the opposite.Thats why i no longer have the "recommended members" in my sig. There is one particular board member (not mentioning names) that ive boughten from at least 10 times and had nothing but awesome purchases and service, but people are claiming to have been ripoffed from him. Its kinda hard to believe. If we do get a feedback system, (1) some people need to grow up (2) Dont take the recommendation as a guarnatee. Buyers should always use caution when sending cash to a stranger, it just comes with the hobby.Just my 2 cents. <img src=\"http://forums.NIGHTOWLpro.com/style_emoticons/<#EMO_DIR#>/thumbsup.gif\" style=\"vertical-align:middle\" emoid=\"\" border=\"0\" alt=\"thumbsup.gif\" />

This idea has been proposed a few times, and it\'s just not feesable. the idea is a good one, but the reality of it will never work. One person\'s idea of a \'good\' transaction is not another person\'t idea. There are things implimented to deal with rip offs, namely contact a mod and report the problem, from there we see if there is anything we can do to help, and what kind of a case it is, after that banning, reporting etc. A feedback system will degrade itself into a bashing forum, start fights, uneasyness, and make a lot of pissed off people. How? You see feedback hostage on ebay now pretty much entirly, you send payment, and don\'t see your feedback until you\'ve left positive for the seller. It would be the same thing on here, pay for a mask promptly, and the seller would hold back feedback until that mask is there, and if the buyer has anything negative ie poorly packed, slow shipping etc, the seller would fire back with something else, or it would just end up as a fight, with other idiots jumping in choosing sides etc. If you guys wanna keep doing the signiture thing, go for it, that seems to be working okay, but as for an official system, not gonna happen.

I for one would rather use my reputation than read feedbacks about myself on a seperate forum. It\'s just never going to happen here because NIGHTOWL is a business website and not a completely public forum like mm.net or someplace else.Nice idea..never going to happen. Use paypal and when someone seems like they\'re going to screw you, file a claim. I\'ve never been ripped off in my 7 or 8 years in this hobby and I couldn\'t come close to counting how many deals i\'ve done. Just have to be smart

I agree, the customer has a right to give their opinion on a negative/positive transaction. This can be done in a professional manner, not with foul language and such. But a stern warning to all the potential buyers out there warning them of these likely rip-off's.Jason

Justin's. This isn't really suppose to be a community of all sorts of luxuries like a feedback forum. The classifieds are just a bonus, but this is first and foremost Justin's forum to promote more business. If you want to leave 'feedback', put it in your signature like a lot of others do.
