Hi guys,I've been working on a little project for myself over the past couple of weekends. I had been searching for ages for an ACCURATE model of the house that Kristen makes in NOES 3 Dream Warriors. I've seen a couple out there that were pretty good, but nothing that I was ready to pay top dollar for just yet. That got me to thinking and Elizabeth and I were sitting around one night and thought that if we really just put time into it we could make the house ourselves. One thing led to another and the next thing you know...the weekend is almost up and my right index finger is killing me from all of the glue that I've had to apply in the past 48 hours. Anyway I'm nowhere near finished but I'm making killer progress. I've only got the roof section of the house built and near complete. I'm adding the planks to the windows either today, or tomorrow evening and after that's done the entire room will be complete. I'll then be starting on the sides of the house and save the front for last. I'd like to add that my house will match the screen used model by every single plank. I'm even doing my best to angle everything in the exact same spots. These pictures are a little brighter than what I had hoped for because it makes the house look whiter than it actually is. My version has a very dirty and worn out look to it and I'll be doing some more weathering on it today once the window planks are done.Below is a picture of the screen used house followed by 2 shots of what I've completed so far. You'll notice so far...everything matches...size, color....I even got close to the same kind of clippings of newspaper, or as close as I could I should say. Please drop me comments and let me know what you think so far. I'll be updating with more pics as I make more progress...I just wanted to have a chance to show all of my fellow NIGHTOWLers and get any feedback that I could. Thanks Everyone,-JosephScreen Used House: My House: My House:

I had seen your previously and loved it...thats what got me to wanting to do one in the first place. I think he did a killer job on it and I'm glad you're happy with it. I need to post some more pics of mine, but I didn't want to flood the thread with too many pics in one day. I have however just completed cutting the sides for it but I still need to cut windows and put paper on it. I found a killer way of weathering the paper to give it that grey dirty kind of look that finally worked out for me this morning. I thought I was going to work on planking the windows, but since I've still got some work to do to the roof section I'm going to hold off so I can still use the windows as finger holes for holding it while I work. Thanks for the kind words though guys and I will snap some more pics one a little more progress has been made. I do have to say though...with the sides supporting the roof right now...it really gives me an idea of overall size. I'm really impressed so far...

Pictures really don't do it justice because it's much dirtier looking than what's showing up when I use my flash. I do have both sides on it completely finished and weathered and now it's sitting at it's actual height. Tonight I think I'm going to work on the frame work for the front of the house to get a feel for how it's going to look and then move on to completing it.As far as pictures go...I think I'm good now man, I just remembered the Nightmare Boards having that huge image archive so I just went there and pulled all the shots that I needed. I should have some new pics up either tonight or tomorrow depending upon how much progress that I've made with it after work. Thanks for the kind words by the way...I know you're just as critical as I am when it comes to stuff like this.

Here's an updated pic. I took this in dim lighting this time with no flash so you could see just how gray the weathering came out. As you can see the sides have been added to it, however I've not snapped any pics of them yet, however they are screen accurate with all windows in their proper places and I even left paper folded in around the edges so it would look rough like the screen used counterpart. As you can see the lower front of the house has not been added yet, however I am working on it. This is a rough piece of frame work *pre paint* but if you zoom in on the pictures you'll see that every single piece of wood is in the proper location matching it's counterpart to the letter.Hope you guys enjoy and please drop me a line and let me know what you think...good or bad. Thanks All!-Joseph
